Trip to Alamo Village

January 24, 2009  •  Leave a Comment

A couple of my photog friends and I went to the Alamo Village. Alamo Village is an active movie set and tourist attraction north of Brackettville, Texas, United States. Alamo Village, the first movie location built in Texas, was constructed as the setting for The Alamo (1960), directed by John Wayne and starring Wayne, Richard Widmark, Laurence Harvey and Frankie Avalon.

Alamo Village is an awsome place to photograph. There was so much to shoot I didn't get to see everything, but that is okay as I plan to go back there anyways. We all were bracketing our shots to produce High Dynamic Range (HDR) images.
