Celtic Road Trip!

I took a road trip the other weekend to the 4th Annual Sherwood Celtic Music Festival in McDade, TX. There were over 30 bands playing Celtic-influenced music, which I am a big fan of. One musician caught my ear, Klaus Weiland. He played his mandola with such passion that it captivates you; I could have listened to him all day.

It was a long drive but was worth the trip. The trip took me up Hwy 21, which I have been up several times. There is an old building next to two trees that I have wanted to photograph for some time now. The lighting and sky has not been what I was looking for in the past, however it was right on my return trip and I finally got my photograph of it.

The Texas Renaissance Festival is going on now. I plan on going one of these weekends coming up so I can continue to capture more characters. I hope you enjoyed these photographs.
